The Summerville Stone Soup Coalition normally list only services within the Summerville Zip codes. Since loss of heat can be so dangerous in the winter we are listing services in Summerville and the surrounding areas.

2-1-1 SOUTH CAROLINA STATE RESOURCE SERVICE

United Way Association of South Carolina provides a service free to all. A one stop resource for finding assistance in the local Summerville community.  Use this resource for help with food, housing, utilities, homelessness, child care, health care, financial education or senior services etc. call 211. This service is available any time of day or night 24/7 365 days a year.

THE COMMUNITY RESOURCE CENTER

Warming and Cooling Day Center

The CRC provides meals, groceries, and clothing as well as referral help with housing, utilities, homelessness, and health care. CRC can provide free diabetes and other medical and hygiene supplies.  It is a day only cooling or warming center during extreme weather. Job training and computer education are also available. Periodic health fairs are conducted, call for the upcoming schedule.
